|Long description=In der Nacht zum Dienstag, 29.8.2023 war in einem ca. 40 m hohen Getreidesilo in Wesselburen (Kreis Dithmarschen) ein Brand  entstanden. Das Silo war mit  etwa 30 Tonnen Getreide gefüllt. Die Temperaturen im Silo wurden zwischen bei 600 bis 700 Grad abgeschätzt. Bei der sehr schwierigen Brandbekämpfung waren bis zum 1.9.23 ca. 200 Feuerwehrkräfte im Einsatz. Schwelbrände wurden durch Einsatz von Stickstoff erstickt.
