The core objective of the library is to give Disaster Management Organizations (DMO) ideas on how they can use Social Media and/or Crowdsourcing (SMCS) in a concrete way and what benefits it brings. If a DMO is in a similar situation or wants to achieve the same goals through SMCS as another DMO has already done, it can learn from the experience.

In the course of the LINKS project we will collect examples on the usage of Social Media and Crowdsourcing during disaster prevention, response or recovery. You can view a preliminary collection of practice examples in our forum at https://forum.links.communitycenter.eu/c/event-monitoring/8.
