The following tables present international networks and associations of practitioners belonging to the Disaster Management Community (DMOs)

Having in mind the different types of large-scale incidents a sub-division of the practitioners networks in those from Police, Fire brigade, Emergency medical services, various types of technical rescue, NGOs involved in disaster management is considered helpful for reaching out to them in the different incidents.

Fire & Rescue Services

The following table provides a list of international associations bringing together experts from fire services. They all have their specific aims and agendas ranging from managerial issues to education and training. Amongst them one can find back all ranks and roles which are building one of the main working forces for the protection of people in case of disasters.
