Having in mind the different types of large-scale incidents a sub-division of the practitioners networks in those from Police, Fire brigade, Emergency medical services, various types of technical rescue, NGOs involved in disaster management is considered helpful for reaching out to them in the different incidents.

The project’s acronym LINKS suggests that the project is about developing links to various stakeholders including other projects, networks and communities engaged in the disaster management arena.

The cooperation varies from network to network and can for example aim for the addressing of other communities to evaluate the LINKS Framework or to promote the research results of LINKS to a wider audience.
